Capital should expand the ecosystem, not control the standard.
Kungfu is not announcing a financing round. This page is a standing statement of the principles that would govern any future relationship with capital; it is not an offer to sell securities or an invitation to subscribe for them.
Product value comes first. The purpose of these principles is to make long-term compatibility legible before urgency, valuation, or transaction mechanics can distort the mission.
Three goals, held together
A compatible relationship must strengthen all three. Advancing one by sacrificing another is not alignment.
Global credibility for KFD
KFD should earn trust as a public protocol whose technical direction cannot be purchased by one company, investor, government, or platform. This is a goal, not a claim that KFD is already an industry standard or independently adopted.
A durable Kungfu Origin
Kungfu Origin should have the commercial strength to survive, build, ship, support, and expand valuable products and services around the public layer.
Long-term freedom of action
The project's author, stewards, and wider system should retain real option value when dealing with capital, governments, and major vendors rather than trade future autonomy for a short-term result.
The role capital should play
Capital is compatible when it increases the system's ability to create durable value.
Returns should come from expanding the ecosystem.
A compatible investor should expect economic value to come from stronger products, wider adoption, better execution, and a healthier ecosystem—not from purchasing control of KFD's technical direction or turning interoperability into a proprietary gate.
Non-negotiable boundaries
These are compatibility tests, not transaction terms or statements about current legal rights.
Protocol direction is not consideration
A capital relationship cannot depend on control of KFD's technical decisions, conformance meaning, public interfaces, or protocol evolution.
No ecosystem exclusivity
Capital cannot require a private gate that prevents conforming implementations, independently owned Hubs, or other ecosystem participants from competing on top of the public protocol.
No customer capture through integration
The business may create official products and services, but public interoperability cannot become a route to seize an adopter's users, accounts, billing, models, cloud, or customer relationship.
No purchased truth
Investment cannot change what evidence proves, turn a roadmap into a shipped claim, or suppress the independent review needed for trustworthy releases and governance.

Public protocol, commercial company
KFD's public protocol layer and Kungfu Origin's commercial product layer serve different roles.
Compatibility depends on preserving the distinction.
The public layer should remain credible to builders who do not buy from Kungfu Origin. Kungfu Origin Technology Limited can build valuable official products and services around that layer and may evaluate ordinary commercial financing without selling protocol governance.
These principles do not establish or alter entity structure, intellectual-property ownership, trademark rights, protocol governance, investor rights, or any other legal relationship. Any such arrangement would require separate verification, professional review, approvals, and definitive documents.
A place to understand, not transact
Use the public Kungfu repository and its issue tracker only for public technical or ecosystem questions. They are not channels for financing proposals or transaction instructions.
This page states no financing amount, valuation, security type, price, allocation, timetable, subscription process, or transaction terms. If Kungfu ever pursues a transaction, only separate private diligence and definitive documents could govern it.
